Love Me Or Leave Me...

Isn't Amazon like the joy-est of the joy on any grey day?! As I pulled out a collection box of Nina Simone's songs, I couldn't wait to put on some old love and have a glass of wine... "Love me or leave me and let me be lonely, You won't believe me but I love you only..." Ufff Love is a tough one... As a broken-heart patient who has moved to the recovery ward old love songs I believe are allowed... As I picked up my bb I realised I deleted his number... I put the phone down... Closed my eyes... And listened to the songs one after the other till the end... Then came silence... It's a new dawn, it's a new day...

MAC Idyllic Paint Pot...

It's a warm, red copper-ish colour...

I'm a huge fan of MAC Paint Pots... They are the best make-up invention ever! This colour came with the Posh Paradise collection [I also got the Nubile Paint Pot from the very same collection, it's a fantastic light peachy nude kind of colour - a must have!]... Idyllic is a very pretty burned coppery bronze colour that will suit most complexion, perfect to warm up your eyes during the grey and cold A/W seasons... Don't be afraid of the colour thinking it's too dark or deep, you can work with it regardless of whichever way you want to take it... You can leave it as a light layer, or you can build it up for a more dramatic sexy smoky eye look. It's ideal on it's own as well as colour-base for an evening look!

Chanel Coco Eau de Parfum Review!

When it comes to scents everyone has their own thing going on... Personally, I like a strong and feminine scent, something classic and timeless... This A/W I am totally addicted to the Coco Chanel Eau de Parfum...  I have no idea how I managed to oversee this fragrance before... It's such a warm and sexy scent, it makes you want to wrap yourself in the Coco -fabulousness... It's right up there with Noir de Noir [Tom Ford]... If I want to tone Coco Chanel down for the day-wear I mix it with a couple of spritzers of Viva La Juicy [Juicy Couture], it's a lighter and sweeter scent... Or sometimes what I also like to do is to mix Coco Chanel fragrance with the Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne [Jo Malone] - had a lot of compliments on this combo, even some from strangers.... Literally in one day a guy stopped me in the street asking what fragrance I was wearing, and then later a girl at Starbucks loved my fragrance cocktail too...

Artdeco Eyepalette...

I went for natural brown colours...

I got this Artdeco Eyepalette a while ago... And although it came pricey, I think around £39 for the empty palette and the four eye-shadows together, but I realised the quality is absolutely worth it. Artdeco is a German cosmetics brand. First time I came across their products was in the 90s when I lived there... Back then I went to school and it was a bit expensive to afford, it comes close to Chanel or Dior eyepalettes price-wise... But quality-wise I must admit it's much better than quite a few Chanel or Dior eyeshadows I came across.. It's a brand that just feel luxurious, the eyeshadows come in beautiful colours, mostly they have satin finish, blends like a dream and goes on very smooth, stays long, great colour payoff - what else could you possibly ask for?!

When I got the palette I was hooked on it for weeks, which is extraordinary considering the fact that any great make-up lover will continue collect other eyeshadow palettes and quads and duos [you name it],  so you are constantly tempted to switch to different eyeshadows all the time... The other amazing thing about Artdeco that not many other good brands do, is that you have a choice! You can choose what goes in your palette, not only colour-wise, but also as you can see on one of the images, you can also select a blush for instance... They leave you with a wide choice... Ardteco appeared in my shopping mall not too long ago, so check out if you can get to an Artdeco counter close to you, I highly recommend their eyeshadows! I'd say the quality of those are very similar to the new bareMinerals eyepalettes, which  the girls in US are already enjoying, and we in UK have to wait till next year, ugh!
