Too Faced Chocolate Bar: Amaretto Look

Hey Beauty Lovers! Still pretty obsessed with the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. This is the only eyeshadow palette I have been using for weeks non stop - going through all of the eyeshadows, which is a pretty rare case. I have found a combo that I particularly enjoy wearing if I'm going for a vampy copper smokey eye. MAC Paint Pot in Constructivist makes a great base for the Amaretto eyeshadow shade from this palette.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Look #2: Plum Smokey Eye!

Hey Beauty Lovers! After featuring the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette last week I have been dipping my eyeshadow brush into it quite a lot trying out different looks. Here is a metallic plum smokey eye that I have created by applying the shade Amaretto all over the eyelid as well taking it under the lower lashes, blending it together with a black kohl eyeliner. That is pretty much the only eyeshadow I am wearing on the lid, and as a highlighter I applied White Chocolate on the brow-bone. It's a very simply but sophisticated and chic way of wearing a smokey eye. I absolutely adore the texture of these eyeshadows, they are incredibly smooth and super bendable!

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette!

Hey Beauty Lovers! Too Faced always come out with fun eyeshadow palettes and this time it's all about chocolate! If you are chocoholic you will absolutely love the Too Faced Chocolate Bar, the palette looks like a chocolate bar [obviously] and the eyeshadows smell like chocolate! The eyeshadows are really beautiful, it's a nice mix of mattes and metallics. Most of the eyeshadows are warm toned chocolaty browns but there are also a couple of purples.

To create the eyeshadow look that I'm wearing: Apply MAC Paint Pot in Nubile as a base. Then all over apply Salted Caramel [matte soft brown] from the palette, also taking it under the lower lash-line. For extra dimension blend Semi-Sweet [matte brown] through the socket and again under the lower lash-line blending the two shades together. Champagne Truffle is a gorgeous pinky metallic highlight, it looks beautiful on the brow-bone.

August Faves: 10 Best Loved Beauty Products!

Hey Beauties! I always feel a little sad at the end of August, because it means that summer is over. It was such a lovely summer during which I devoured a humongous amount of Italian ice-cream! But at the same time you also start looking forward to lots of cosy evenings spent home with a big mug of hot chocolate and melting mini marshmallows. And of course I also get excited about the coming AW13 beauty trends and new shades of the season.

So it's time to let go of summer and embrace autumn. I decided to share with you the beauty products that I have really enjoyed and used consistently this month, trying to keep them within ten items:

1. Favourite Eyeshadow: Too Faced Summer Eyes Palette, shades: Cocoa Beach and Toasted Coconut - to see the eyeshadows on click here!
2. Favourite Eyeshadow Highlighter: MAC Eye Shadow in Grain - technically it's three eyeshadows this month that got most love, Grain looks super sexy on the brow-bone.
3. Favourite Mascara: Cosmetics a la Carte Divine Lash in Black, I use it daily, love the brush and the volumising but non clumping consistency. Gives you full but natural looking lashes.
4. Favourite Face Primer: Stila Skincare Light Source, this spot correcting and brightening serum is great as a base, makes foundation go on beautifully, and it has a clean lavender scent. For the full review click here!
5. Favourite Foundation: NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Light6 Ceylan. For a review and to see it on click here!
6. Favourite Lip Base: Cosmetics a la Carte Plump & Prime, makes any lipstick look even more beautiful. For a full review click here!

Too Faced No Makeup Makeup Palette!

I have done a full review and created a look wearing the Too Faced Bronzed & Poreless Pore Perfecting Bronzer and the Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool, to see the blogpost just click here!

Hey beauties! As you probably gathered by now I'm the type of girl that loves make-up. Not only do I enjoy wearing make-up but I actually love the whole process of applying make-up, and find it incredibly therapeutic! And this is why I wanted to share this palette, I have used it so many times this summer purely to make myself put together and not leave the house looking like I just got out of bed. This palette is great for someone who either doesn't like wearing much make-up or for those of us who need at least something in situations like hanging out by the pool, going to the beach and maybe groceries shopping on the way back.

So if you don't want to wear the full make-up yet want to look representable you can quickly beautify your complexion. And if you also don't have a mascara close by the Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool is also a great idea, you can quickly dot it on along the lash line and that visually makes the lashes look thicker as well as subtly defining the eye.

I absolutely adore the Crème Blush and the Luminize highlighter. It's such a cute palette, you literally get everything you need in one place: concealer, highlighter, brightener, blushes, and a bronzer. And what's convenient about it, even if you don't have a brush close at hand you can quickly do your face just with fingers as the concealer, highlighter, brightener and one of the blushes are all crème texture! I adore the packaging, reminds me of the vintage tin palettes, and you also get a guide to three looks you can create with this palette: Wake Up Makeup; Nude Radiance; Red Carpet Contour. Very neat!

Summer Natural Look with Too Faced Summer Eyes Palette

I have been absolutely obsessed with the Too Faced Summer Eyes palette from the Summer Sexy Shadow Collection! My eyelids have particularly enjoyed wearing the three brown shades in this palette: Cocoa Beach, Chocolate Sun, and Toasted Coconut - I love the names, super delicious and pretty! Cocoa Beach and Chocolate Sun are both shimmery with gold glitter but they are fine milled and super flattering to go with that sun-kissed skin. Toasted Coconut is a satin texture and has been well loved, it's actually one of a few eyeshadows I wore most this summer. There is something super low maintenance about it, I just sweep it all over the lid with a smudged black kohl and it just looks absolutely gorgeous!

For this look I have also used the Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool. This type of eyeliner is a new product that has been launched by a number of cosmetic brands. This one is the first I tried, and the way I use it to suit my complexion is dotting it right above the lashnine and then thickening it up for a wing with a regular liquid eyeliner. This way I define the lashes on the inner corner of the eye, which looks very natural - to visually elongate the eye I start thinkining the liner with a regular liquid eyeliner half way down and then adding the straightish flick. I also like the way the 3 Way liner looks on the bottom lash line, also making the lashes appear thicker yet still looking natural, great for those days when you don't want to go eyeliner-heavy!

And finally, Too Faced Bronzed & Poreless Pore Perfecting Bronzer, which I am also wearing has this defused effect creating an airbrushed look. It's matte, light feeling and doesn't have a heavy powdery texture so it can go lightly all over the face focusing more on the hollow of the cheeks, temples and bridge of the nose for that summer sun-kissed look.

Too Faced Summer Eyes Palette!

It's hard to capture glitters even in day light, but Cocoa Beach, Peach Fuzz, Coral Crush
Chocolate Sun, and Sunbeam all have fine golden glitters in them!

I love how summer fitting this palette is! The cute tin packaging reminds me of the retro make-up! This palette comes with a How-To Glamour Guide suggesting three looks: Day, Classic, Fashion. In the palette there are three base colours, then three on trend shades, and three brown eyeshadows for more depth. Seashell from the Day look and Toasted Coconut from the Fashion look are both matte. Plumeria from Day look and Mermaid from Fashion look are satin, and the rest is glittery. All the eyeshadow shades are really pretty, beauty-look wearing these is coming soon!
