Le Couvent des Minimes Cologne of the Morning is a great scent to kick start an early morning with. Refreshing Orange and Lemon are combined with the energetic Basil and Cedar to create a beautifully refreshing and uplifting scent. I've become a huge fan of the Le Couvent des Minimes colognes after trying their Cologne of Love, which I am still addicted too. The Cologne of the Morning is a light scent so it would be perfect for someone who is not into heavy scents. When it comes to V-Day and scents you can't go wrong with a springy sexy fragrance like L'Occitane Arlesienne. Hey Beauty Lovers! Here is a great new find which I have become quite frankly addicted to. If you are into scents I highly recommend you check out Le Couvent des Minimes, which are available at Boots.com or directly on their website lecouventdesminimes.co.uk [currently there is a V-Day offer on their website, two products for £28 worth £34]. They are a French brand based in the South of France that believe in the goodness of natural ingredients. On the back of their products you will find the botanical info that will satisfy your inner-nerd and tell you what natural ingredients went into the potion as well as what benefits it has for the skin, which I find to be a very neat idea! 

Botanical Cologne of Love collection is perfect for the upcoming V-Day! My personal pick is the Cologne and the Beneficial Care Oil, simply because I find to make a scent linger the longest it is best to apply it in 'layers'. This oil is multifunctional, you can utilise your significant other and kindly ask for a much deserved V-Day Special massage, or apply the oil through the ends of your hair to give it a natural healthy shine, or you can even indulge in some quality me-time and have a beautiful bath pouring a few drops of the oil into the water. Having a bit of the oil on your hair or skin will make the cologne scent last longer, so that's a little trick for you there. 

Speaking of which the actual cologne scent is incredible, I have become quite literally obsessed with it. It's a combination of sweet and fresh Orange Blossom and Citrus Fruits. Orange Blossom is traditionally known as the scent of love and it was considered a remedy for dry skin. It's a great scent with a hint of sexy to kick-start the Spring!

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Eau de Parfum Intense Review!

Hey Beauty Lovers! I purchased this Narciso Rodriguez For Her fragrance probably last year but as it happens it just slipped my mind to write a review and next thing I know the bottle is empty! First things first, it's a really heavy bottle with smokey mirrored non-see-through glass, which means one day you pick it up and without a 'running-low' warning it's simply gone... So apart from this issue I love the design of the mysterious looking bottle. This fragrance is an Eau de Parfum Intense from the Musc Collection, so as you can imagine the scent encapsulates musk! It's a sweet and woody fragrance with jasmine notes, which makes it a beautifully sensual evening fragrance.

L'Occitane Neroli & Orchid Fragrance Review!

Hey Beauty Lovers! I have recently featured the new L'Occitane Neroli & Orchid Collection that was launched in March 2014. Neroli & Orchid Eau de Toilette is the most gorgeous scent that is just perfect for spring and summer. I wore it most part of the month and I'm still addicted to the scent, which says a lot because generally I rotate my fragrances every couple of days. Although it's an eau de toilette it lingers on my skin and clothes for hours and hours, which I absolutely love! It's a light but sensual floral fragrance, if I could describe it with just one word it would be: Delicious! The two key raw components are Neroli essence from the Mediterranean and white orchid absolute from Madagascar. 

Top Notes: Orange, mandarin. 
Heart Notes: Neroli, peach & fig milk. 

Base Notes: Orchid, musk & iris.

When I smelled Balenciaga L'Essence for the first time the scent reminded me on that French man I used to see and the beautiful time we had... It's a very luring, powerful, sensual fragrance with a hint of masculinity... It's an incredibly chic and sexy perfume, French affair sexy... Exactly that! It's an incredibly elegant and luxurious scent... The original eau de parfum came out last year... And now Bottega Veneta that is famous for their luxurious handbags, came out with the perfect accessory for the handbag, the same fragrance but as a purse spray... The fragrance has a pleasant modern touch, it's an elegant version of a boyfriend scent with jasmine and patchouli notes running through, which I always adore! I can never have enough of patchouli or jasmine... The purse spray is such a great idea, and the bottle of course is also channelling elegance in its simplicity... Perfect for any 'it' handbag and travelling!

Tom Ford White Patchouli...

Tom Ford White Patchouli fragrance...

The other day I decided to take a shower with the Tom Ford White Patchouli body cleansing gel that I use so sparingly, I had it for ages and it's one of those things you try to make last longer... It looks beautiful in my bathroom, next to a chunky white candle... The shower gel has a very intense scent, just like all of the Tom Ford fragrances, and so it's perfect for a nightout layering the scent... I have written many times before that Tom Ford fragrances are on the top of my desired list! I have a couple of his extremely sexy fragrances... I love them so much that I also occasionally wear his fragrances for men... White Patchouli is my first Tom Ford fragrance I have purchased, it's a warm, sweet, velvety flower scent... This bottle is still half full eventhough I had it for over two years now, a little bit goes a long way with Tom Ford fragrances... I love wearing it on a cold winter's day and equally summer nights...

I was in the hunt for a new fragrance for the summer... Last year I wore two fragrances throughout the entire summer I was hooked on John Galliano Parlez-Moi d'Amour for daytime and Gucci Flora for the evening... Both are very sexy and summery... Parlez-Moi d'Amour is a fruity raspberry refreshing scent... And Flora is more deep floral scent... This spring I have been into Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne... It's a very springy, sweet yet fresh peachy scent... Although I do find that it's not worth the money, it really does not stay long on me at all, it's more of a body spray after shower that I then need to top up with a proper fragrance before I leave... Generally I like very sexy and deep fragrances, few of my all time favourites are: Prada L'Eau Ambree, Chanel Coco, Tom Ford Noir de Noir... 

This was just to explain my fragrance palette, as it is quite hard to describe fragrances, but if you like those I assume you will like Madonna's Truth or Dare [watch Madonna TorD Commercial...]... I have been to the fragrance counter quite a few times in the past few weeks... Prada Candy I thought would be great when it first came out but actually it smells cheap to me, another perfume that I was surprisingly disliking is Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb... I try to use it up but it just smells to me like those very strong floral alcohol deodorants from the 90s... The one I quite liked from the new fragrances is Fun di Fendi... Yesterday I had some time and asked the fragrance lady to show me some sexy summer fragrances... Few I was completely indifferent towards, didn't smell like anything new or special... Then boom(!) out of nowhere I smelled something that slapped me across the face and then dragged me into some sort of erotic underworld... Instantly I asked her 'omg(!) this is good, WHAT is it??' - She said it's the new Madonna fragrance Truth or Dare... 

When I got home I spritzed it all over, it's quite powerful, I almost felt dizzy... The level of sexyness reminded me on my Tom Ford fragrances... I could pick up on lily, jasmine, some other white flowers, vanilla, and musk... I was very intrigued about the notes and started googleing this fragrance... Tuberose and gardenia where those other white flowers... But here is the thing, I kept on reading the reviews and most of them were very negative, which I was kind of not getting... Like I said above I had no idea what fragrance I was smelling until I hit me and I fell in love with it there and then... And also my taste in fragrances is quite expensive and pretty damn sexy, so the awful criticism I can only explain in two scenarios... One - it was written by haters and people who have no idea about fragrances in general... Two - perhaps they were not daring enough and felt the fragrance is too provoking, too offensive, and reminds them of what they haven't had since stone-age and will not be having in the foreseeable future either - it's called SEX! 

Personally I love it, it's Madonna in the bottle! I also quite adore the design of the bottle it's kind of modern yet timeless, and the shape allows you to put it either way and throw it in your handbag bcs of it's flat shape which is super convenient! Well done Madonna! For those who love the daring queen of pop as much as I do here is an Alek Keshishian's documentary about Madonna on her ground-braking Blond Ambition Tour in 1990, I came across  this when researching her fragrance... I can hear Amazon calling!

Chanel Coco Eau de Parfum Review!

When it comes to scents everyone has their own thing going on... Personally, I like a strong and feminine scent, something classic and timeless... This A/W I am totally addicted to the Coco Chanel Eau de Parfum...  I have no idea how I managed to oversee this fragrance before... It's such a warm and sexy scent, it makes you want to wrap yourself in the Coco -fabulousness... It's right up there with Noir de Noir [Tom Ford]... If I want to tone Coco Chanel down for the day-wear I mix it with a couple of spritzers of Viva La Juicy [Juicy Couture], it's a lighter and sweeter scent... Or sometimes what I also like to do is to mix Coco Chanel fragrance with the Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne [Jo Malone] - had a lot of compliments on this combo, even some from strangers.... Literally in one day a guy stopped me in the street asking what fragrance I was wearing, and then later a girl at Starbucks loved my fragrance cocktail too...
