Butter London Keen - Boho Rock Collection!

Hey Beauty Lovers! Butter London Keen is from the Spring 2014 Boho Rock Collection. Keen is a really pretty pastel peach and it's perfect for spring. It needs a good few coats as it goes on a little streaky, but with three coats it's perfection! This shade makes hands look slightly paler than they are, so with a bit of tan it would look even better.

On-Trend: Nude Nails with Butter London Boho Rock Collection!

L to R: Butter London Lushington + Trallop

Hey Beauty Lovers! Here is a chic way to cooperate two nail trends: the nude nails + glitter! The gold glitter polkadots look super cute and subtle over a nude base. To create this look I applied two coats of Butter London Trallop, which is a gorgeous warm toned caramel nude. It's super pigmented and you have to work fast with it as it settles pretty quickly. Then with a fine artists brush I applied random small dots using Butter London Lushington, which is a fine toned-down [not over the top] gold glitter that makes a great overcoat. Both Trallop and Lushington are from the new Boho Rock Collection, which is all about Bohemian earthy and feminine shades and finishes.

On-Trend: Butter London Black + Holographic Nail Combo!

Butter London Union Jack Black [two coats]

 Butter London Stardust [one overcoat]

L to R: Butter London Stardust + Union Jack Black

Hey Beauty Lovers! Here is another rather fabulous looking Butter London nail combo. Holographic nails is one of the trending looks this Spring. The holographic trend was set by the amazing nail art created for ICB by Prabal Gurung Spring 2014 runway show by Katie Hughes for Butter London. That beautiful strip of holographic foil running down the centre of a bare nail, to me it's the most iconic nail look for the coming season! There are so many ways of how you can wear holographic nails, from foils to glitter. This look is super easy as it is channelling the holographic nail trend in a rather effortless but still impressive way. Holographic nails sometimes can be slightly overwhelming but this look is on a chic side.

Holographic glitters look especially beautiful on a black base. Black nailpolish makes the holographic glitter stand out more. To create this look I applied two coats of Butter London Union Jack Black as a base, which is a cream black. Then I added one overcoat of Butter London Stardust, it's a fine holographic glitter on a clear base. This combo looks ah-mazing!

On-Trend: Duo-Chrome Nails with Butter London!

Butter London Union Jack Black [two coats]

 Butter London Petrol [one overcoat]

L to R: Butter London Petrol [overcoat] + Union Jack Black

Hey Beauty Lovers! Here is another Butter London combo that I really enjoyed wearing and had so many compliments. Union Jack Black is a cream black that looks perfect with two coats and it's a shade from the core collection. Petrol is a new stunning duo-chrome overcoat going from green turquoise to purple, just one coat looks beautiful over black base. It is always hard to capture the true beauty of shimmer, glitter, and duo-chrome nailpolishes on camera but do take my word for it, Petrol over black looks ah-mazing!

On-Trend: Butter London Union Jack Black + Stratford Honey!

Wearing Joubi Kosey [red feline ears] 18-karat gold plated ring.

Butter London Union Jack Black [two coats]

Butter London Stratford Honey [one coat]

L to R: Butter London Stratford Honey + Union Jack Black

FYI: Joubi Kosey ring is a great V-Day gift idea!!

Hey Beauty Lovers! I have been obsessed with Butter London nailpolishes lately, as you probably can tell... I quite like the idea of wearing black nailpolish with an overcoat, be it a shimmer, glitter or duo-chrome it gives the black tips that modern edge and takes the classic black to the next level. Butter London Union Jack Black is a cream black nailpolish, it's on a sheer side with one coat, but with two coats it's beautifully opaque, super smooth and application is great.

Over the top I'm wearing Butter London Stratford Honey, which is a gorgeous gold glitter overcoat. The glitters are small mixed with super fine glitter particles on a clear base, and it's not a glitter over-kill so you can still see the base colour. For a sheer effect wear one overcoat or for more glitters layer a couple more coats. And on a side-note if you also love the Joubi Kosey ring, for more info and pics check out my full review by clicking here!

V-Day Nails: Butter London Red with Gold Glitter Ombre!

Butter London Pillar Box Red

Butter London Stratford Honey

Butter London Pillar Box Red [one coat]

Butter London Stratford Honey [two coats]

Hey Beauty Lover! Here is another V-Day inspired nail look, I decided to go for classic red and add a little bit of seasonal glamour by combining it with gold glitter ombre effect. To create this look I painted my nails in Butter London Pillar Box Red, it's a beautiful classic cream red. The formula is amazing it's super pigmented and smooth, you can totally get away with just one coat. I believe this shade is from their core collection. Then for the ombre effect, I applied Butter London Stratford Honey, which is a small and medium glitter particles overcoat, the glitters are on a sheer side [not too many of them] so you will need a few coats to build up the glitter count. It came out with the Illusionist Holiday 2013 Collection and it's a new overcoat.

Butter London Fruit Machine from the Sweetie Shop Collection!

Butter London Fruit Machine is a super pretty pink shade. I don't wear pink nails very often but this one totally converted me! It's a cool-tone lilacy pink, with a cream finish. Fruit Machine is very flattering, there is something about this pink that is different to most of the pinks I have, it's fresh, springy and really fun to wear. I had so many compliments wearing this shade, even from people who aren't into pinks! This shade looked perfect on me after three coats, and it lasted such a long time without chipping! Fruit Machine is from the Sweetie Shop Collection Spring 2013, I have also reviewed Cuppa [the most flattering pastel nude!] from this collection, click here for info and swatches.

Butter London Cuppa - Sweetie Shop Collection Spring 2013!

When I first saw Butter London Cuppa in the bottle I thought it might end up making my hands look like mannequin, in the bottle it kind of looks like a greyish nude but actually it's a warm-tone creamy nude! OMG(!) I'm so happy I tried it on, it is the most flattering and sexy nude I have ever come across, hands down it's my all time favourite pastel nude! It's super opaque, and I had absolutely no troubles applying it, two coats looked perfect. Cuppa is from the Sweetie Shop Collection, which has five other pretty pastel shades perfect for spring! Best way to describe this shade: think - English Tea! It looks exactly like black tea with milk, hence the name I guess.

Gift Guide 2012: Festive Sparkles with Butter London Lips & Tips!

Wearing my Beast necklace...
I can throw on any old top with it, the Beast just transforms any casual outfit into something chic and eclectic...
Designed, made, worn and  loved by moi...
The initial inspiration came from Japanese cartoon monsters and cats, scary... Ha ha!

Butter London Rosie Lee...

Festive nail look: OPI Russian Navy and Butter London Rosie Lee on accent nails...

Perfect glittering duo gift set - matching nail polish and lipgloss in the shade Rosie Lee...
Available at Harvey Nichols and www.butterlondon.com

Butter London has great little gift sets this year for Christmas! I particularly love this matching Lips & Tips combo in Rosie Lee, a pinky/plummy shade... The nail polishes from the Christmas 2012 Collection are inspired by jewelled collars, sequins, metallic embellishments and all things sparkly seen at Fashion Week... The Rosie Lee nail polish is a beautiful glitter with a clear base so it's perfect for using on top of any of your nail polishes... I love it on the accent nails as you can see in the images... It is always hard to capture glitters as they are so reflective, but these look a lot more sparkly in real life... They literally look like pink diamonds sprinkled over the nails, absolutely beautiful... A little tip, always finish your nails with a top coat for extra shine and to make the glitter sparkle to the max...

The nail look I went for is an intense dark blue with duo chrome fuchsia shimmer, which makes it look violet [OPI Russian Navy is one of my favourite shades for winter] with the Butter London Rosie Lee on the accent nails... This combo looks incredibly chic and festive! In the images I am also wearing the lipgloss, it doesn't have any harsh glitters in it, nonetheless it is also very sparkly and shiny! I love the shade it's a plummy pink packed with multicolour shimmer... When it's on it look like a flush of wintery pink, very flattering! Oh and the scent is amazing, it smells of strawberries and cream, delicious...
