On Trend: White Nail Look SS13...

White nails is another nail look trend for SS13! I found this white, the only white I have, in my nail polish collection... H&M Why Not? is a blue toned sheer white, which looks really pretty, but you'll need quite a few coats of it - I applied three... White is a colour that makes everything stand out, and so nail art looks more crisp on the white nailpolish... I decided to simply apply one coat of the pretty OPI Polka.Com glitter nail polish with clear base as an accent on two nails... But with a white nailpolish you can be as creative as you want and it will still look pretty cool...

Monika Chiang Catwalk Inspired Nail Look...

I came across this nail look that Monika Chiang had on her models during NY Fashion Week last year... A gorgeous orange with a golden line going down the middle of the nail... I really liked it, not only does it tick the metallic nail trend but it's just so different and fresh to everything else out there... And most importantly it's super easy to do at home... I chose Essie Fear or Desire, which is a fun bright orange and H&M nail polish in Wawawoom... Et voilà!

Rose-Gold Bikini...

Last summer I was obsessed with rose gold, and actually still quite like it this year, especially with the summer approaching - here in London we are remaining hopeful that the summer will reach use eventually - as I am writing it's raining cats and dogs outside... Rose-gold is pretty flattering on sun-kissed skin, a lot more than yellow gold I find... I wore non-stop this rose-gold Fossil watch last summer... Because it's a lot cheaper than my other watches I am not scared to scratch it and can just be as careless as you can be during summer when sand might be involved...  

Anyways lets concentrate on this gorge bikini... Mixing up your top and bottoms can result in something fun and fresh! Obviously metallics being one of the trends this summer - I went for a plane but metallic bottoms and a nice kind of futuristic print top, also a massive trend this s/s... The metal rose-gold detail ties the combo together... Where did I get it from? Somewhere I don't go very often but once in an odd while I tend to find a little gem in, H&M... Yes baby, you heard it right! And as for a pop of colour teal will be my most worn nail colour this summer no doubt, it works beautifully up against coppery/rose-goldy tones... Absolutely fabulous!

No Mambo Jambo...

H&M Nail Polish in No Mambo Jambo...

Currently I am on a hunt for bright yellow and teal nail polishes... I never liked too crazy colours on my nails, but this year my colour cravings migrated to Puerto Rico - I guess it must be the fact that we almost had no Spring in London this year, and after all those clouds and rain we all are starved for colours to brighten up our days!! 

Last night I dropped by a friends place, thinking I was dressed in rather subtle colours - his first comment was 'wow you are bright!' I was wearing my current favourite pair of blue cropped pants, white tank top, denim shirt, white loose cardi, bright yellow over the body tiny bag, and a scarf that goes from grey to white and then lime/lemon neon... So really not that many colours! Ha! 

Right now I'm totally protesting against black and other dark winter colours for day-wear!! So yes when I saw the No Mambo Jambo nail polish I was wowed! It's a duo-chrome teal with blue shimmer... Uhh!! It's the most amazing and unique teal nail polishes I have ever come across!! All the nail polish lovers have to check this one out, like NOW!!
