As the summer is slowly approaching the end, I decided to still squeeze in a few summery looks... This sunkissed look was inspired by Michael Kors S12 show... His models hit the runway looking like Bronze Goddesses, sunkissed and exuberating radiance... Although my tan has long gone this look made me feel like I just stepped off the beach... It's incredible how a bronzer can transform your face, your mood, your day even... As a bronzer I generously used my all time favourite Nars Laguna which is pretty beat by now...
For the rest of the face I kept it shimmery and light toned... On the eyes I used ByTerry Ombre Blackstar "Color-Fix" Cream Eye Shadow in 6 Frozen Quartz all over the lid, it's a very pretty rose gold colour... I wanted to leave it at that, but it felt a bit too sticky and so I pressed a little of the bareMinerals eyecolour in Nude Beach, which is a beautiful glittery sandy/silvery sheer colour - perfect for creating a barely there wet eyelid look... Under the lower lash line I applied a touch of MAC Eye Shadow in Retro Speck, it's a lustre champagne gold, which is perfect for illuminating and opening up the eyes, making them appear more awake and wide open, in a good way!
And on lips I couldn't think of anything better than the beautiful luscious YSL Golden Gloss in 54 Golden Sand, it's part of the YSL Summer 2012 Collection, which is still available until the end of August or until the stocks last... It's the most beautiful shimmery nude lipgloss with plenty of pretty gold and pink fine glitter... I have been wearing it lots in the past week!

ReplyDeleteI just stumbled across your blog while googling Shiseido foundation swatches and I love it.
Sorry if it's a bit off topic, but do you still use and love the Shiseido sun protection liquid foundation?
Looking forward to keeping up with your blog :) xx
Hi Wendy :) Thanks so much! Currently we don't have much sun in London, more like rain and more rain, but if I'd were somewhere hot and sunny right now Shiseido Sun Protection SPF 30 is the foundation I would go to without a second thought... Having oily to combination skin this is one foundation that does not slip or slide on me... And I have read many reviews from people with normal to dry skin type and they also loved it! <3 xx
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I caved and got it, I couldn't resist. I'm super oily and anything it worth a try to combat that.
DeleteThanks again lovely, I appreciate the reply xx
