Gift Guide 2012: Casual Chic Hair Style & Natural Make-Up Look with Shiseido!

The glossy black palette has a little art nouveau flowers icon, very sleek...

This look is toned down and pretty casual, which is perfect for daytime! Of course I had Christmas in mind when creating this look... You are most likely to stay at your family's house during Christmas, or wherever you are and whatever you do waking up next morning after having lots of delicious home cooked food and perhaps one too many glasses of wine the last thing you want to do is to be spending more than five minutes making yourself look presentable... This look is very easy and super quick, making you look well put together and still chic... Personally I cannot stand when women come down to the kitchen looking like wrack after the night before... You will be having breakfast all together so it's good to make a little bit of effort... So this look is great, it's still natural but pretty!

I picked up this Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio palette in BR 209, the colours in this palette are very very natural, I used it twice so far and second time tried to get it as dramatic as possible with the darkest shade and as you can see it still looks pretty natural... There was another palette with black, bronze and white shades, and it would suit me a lot more I think, because here I had to use MAC Swiss Chocolate in the end to warm it up and give it some dimension... But for a wash of natural colour it's great... I particularly love the satin texture, very smooth and blends easily... The lightest colour is beautiful to highlight the brow bone...

Basically I went over the entire lid with the darkest shade also taking it under the lower lashes - which on my skin was a bad idea, it made me look very tiered, so I had to correct things with MAC Swiss Chocolate... As the colour is so natural I also had to use a black eyeliner... And as for the hair it takes less than a minute to twist your hair into this chic Ballerina bun... First I messily and quickly plaited my ponytail and then twisted it into a bun and used a few bobby pins to secure it in place...
