As I mentioned Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion a few times now, I figured it's time to do a full review... I used it for a good few weeks and still am enjoying it just as much as the first time... Like I have mentioned in my previous blog post: Another Aveda Disappointment... I have not had much Aveda luck... But this is one product I really love... I mean it's still not perfect, like the packaging + the price are far from desired but the product itself is great... I have read quite a few reviews where people didn't seem to be that impressed by it... But here is what I find works when it comes to Hair Potion...
Basically rule #1 don't squeeze the bottle, only gently sprinkle - that's where the packaging con comes in, if you squeeze the bottle it blows out a tone of product which will lead to sticking together bunch of hair, not the sexiest look... Rule #2 use it on the crown of your head to give it the volume, do not think the more you will use the more volume you'll get - not with this product, it only will stick it together and weight it down making you look like you have gone two weeks without a hair wash.... Rule #3, apparently you are not supposed to shake the bottle as the powder turns into liquid, which you will feel when massaging it into the roots... Apart from the packaging and the astronomical price [£19 for 20g] it's a dainty little hair product... Would I repurchase it again, for the price I don't think I would... But keep in mind even though it's only 20g it should last you a while...
LOVE
