Wet Eye Make-Up Look with Berry Lips!

Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Lipstick in Luxe Burgundy
bareMinerals Round The Clock Waterproof Eyeliner in 5pm
Revlon Lipgloss in Peach Petal

Few months ago I saw this really grungy wet eye look created for one of the Fashion Week catwalk shows, and I can't find which one it was... But ever since, I had this image engraved in my mind, I really loved how that kind of dishevelled eye make-up looked on the model... So I decided to create a more wearable look... First of all if creased eye make-up is something you absolutely cannot stand then this look won't be for you as it is impossible to create a wet looking eye make-up without creasing... To achieve the glossy wet eye make-up, which literally looks like you just had a shower and it made your eyeliner and mascara run, all you need is a gel like texture to get things moving on the eyelid and get it to look messy...

Make-up artists quite often use something as simple as a lip gloss in a nude or pale shade... I left the eye make-up I was wearing during the day only intensified the eyeliner a little more and then just applied a touch of the Revlon Lipgloss in Peach Petal over the top... MAC does a Water-Based Mixing Medium, which is clear and I think it was designed to be applied anywhere on the face... Berry lips are also one of the trends this a/w and I absolutely love this Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Lipstick in Luxe Burgundy... Luxy Burgundy is from the current Shu Uemura Holiday 2012 Collection, and the shade is a gorgeous berry with warm light shimmer, very flattering and pretty!

  1. Oh no, I'm in love with that lipstick shade ;) I'm not supposed to be buying anything for myself this close to Christmas.
It looks stunning on you! Have you used a highlighter in these pictures, your skin is glowing with health xx

    1. Thanks Wendy, usually my skin looks really healthy the day after I do the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel, but ever since that bareMinerals Christmas look I did, I have been using the Ready Luminizer in The Love Affair... And I hardly ever wear berry shade lipsticks so I was quite surprised how flattering this one is, stick it on the wish list.. :) xx

    3. Aww thanks! I went through quite a few highlighter compacts, not that easy to find a good one, this one you don't even have to work with - goes on perfectly, most beautifying highlighter I have used, question is what to do with all the previous ones now... :)) xx
