Hey Beauty Lovers! I have featured Nails Inc St Martin's Lane when it first came out in the AW13 Collection, but the pretty spring weather has been short-lived here in London so all that rain makes me want to wear dark nails all over. St Martin's Lane is a super chic dark plum, it looks perfect with two coats. The formula is great, really pigmented and shiny.

On-Trend: Fresh Spring Pink Beauty Look!

Topshop Lipstick in Petal + Topshop Waterproof Liner in Gunpowder

Hey Beauty Lovers! This look was inspired by Lisa Eldridge's Graphic Liner Editorial Look. I love the idea of keeping everything within the gentle pink hues creating a light flush of spring over the skin and the eyes, combined with this strong graphic eyeliner. The complexion is kept flawless with a touch of highlighter for that perfect glowy skin with a subtle pink flush over the cheeks. I'm currently loving BareMinerals Ready Blush in The One. On the eyes I applied MAC Paint Pot in Nubile as a primer, then taking the same blush and blending it through the socket. To highlight the brow-bone I used MAC Eyeshadow in Grain. And the pièce de résistance of course is the graphic eyeliner, for which I chose the Topshop Waterproof Liner in Gunpowder, which is a metallic dark grey, it's a great substitute for a harsh black. And on the lips I applied Topshop Lipstick in Petal, which is a wearable retro pastel milky pink.

Hey Beauty Lovers! Here is a little pastel number for you... Essie Van D'Go, Lilacism and Mint Candy Apple are the three classic pastel nailpolish shades with a cream finish that spring to mind when I think of Easter. This nailart look is great for beginners as it is super easy to recreate and doesn't need to be perfect to look cute. To create this look I applied two coats of Essie Van D'Go, which is a flattering peach tone. Then with a fine artist brush I simply painted on two lines of zig-zags with Essie Lilacism leaving a gap for the Mint Candy Apple dots, which you can use the same brush for or a nailart dotting tool if you have one. This nailart look can be worn outside of Easter if you substitute the colours, try some contrasting bright colours or neons for a fun summery nail look!

Hey Beauty Lovers! Ok, first a confession to be made... I never thought I would praise a onesie, ever. Who knew a onesie could be so super comfortable and yet look so super cute!! If you ever thought onesies are not quite your thing, not really your style, and not really within your comfort zone I beg you to give this one a go! Lush Easter Treats!

Hey Beauty Lovers! Last year I have reviewed the Lush Fluffy Egg for the Easter and this year it's available again! Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb is a pink egg fragranced with Candy Fluff, which is a lovely sweet candy scent. For the full review and more images click here(!) to see the blogpost I wrote last year. Apart from enjoying the Fluff Egg this Easter again I am also loving the Bunny Bath Bomb and Carrot Soap! As you can see I have a dish that is dedicated purely to Lush products, I love keeping Lush soaps and what have you displayed in a dish, which fills the bathroom with a beautiful scent! 

Bunny Bubble Bar is new Limited Edition product, inspired by the White Rabbit in Alice Wonderland. The cute Bunny is full of rich oils and butters, which are super moisturising and conditioning leaving the skin super soft after the bath! It's scented with vanilla absolute and once the Bunny melts in the water it releases floating pretty blue cornflowers! The Carrot Soap has two parts, the orange is made with moisturising carrot seed oil, while the white leaping rabbit in the middle is the conditioning cocoa butter. The scent of the Carrot Soap is refreshingly tropical and super yummy, lingering buchu, lemon and bergamot essential oils.

Sally Hansen Nail Treatment for Weak Nails!

Hey Beauty Lovers! I've been on a bit of a nail escapade in the past month or so, as you know my nails suddenly started breaking/splitting and so I was trying a couple of nail strengthening treatment products, which sort of made things worse... Ages ago I have read somewhere that the health of your nails depends on the health of your cuticles. And lets face it even if purely aesthetically, it doesn't matter how immaculate the nailpolish is applied if the cuticles are not in a good condition the manicure will just look awful! 

When nothing else seems to work Sally Hansen counter is always the right place to turn to. So to get strong and healthy nails basically there are two things you need: a good base + a cuticle treatment. Of course make sure the quality of your nailpolish is good and a good topcoat provides an extra layer, which makes the nailpolish last longer and is less likely to chip, which is something to be avoided - every time a nailpolish chips there is a chance it will chip with your nail, making them more likely to split and get weaker! 

If you check out the previous blogpost you will see a massive difference in how my cuticles looked before and after just one application of the Sally Hansen Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil. It has Wheat Germ, Apricot Kernel, Aloe & Panthenol, which intensely moisturises and conditions, preventing dry brittle nails. There is nothing better than having neat and nourished looking cuticles! 

In the picture above I am also wearing the Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails, which is a strengthening base-coat that you need to apply 2-3 times before applying a nailpolish. I find two coats are more than enough as it really does harden the nails, it has Nylon and Retinol in it that also helps to smooth the ridges. I used to use this base-coat ages ago and it really does work so it's already tested and approved! If you have troubles with your nails, definitely give these a go!

Hey Beauty Lovers! Here is a good way of updating your mani without needing to take off nailpolish and paint your nails all over again. As you have seen in my Friday's post I was wearing BarryM Matte nailpolish in Vanilla with a glossy topcoat. To update the look I applied two pastel nailpolishes with a fine artists brush creating overlaid stripes. First I applied short strokes of BarryM Gelly Nailpolish in Blueberry, then offsetting the stripes I applied Lychee from the same nailpolish range repeating the whole process. To create depth I went over with opposite colours applying ever shorter strokes over the top of the original stripes. And then of course to make your fresh mani last longer finish with a topcoat!

BarryM Matte Nailpolish in Vanilla + Topcoat!

Hey Beauty Lovers! I have previously featured BarryM Matte Nailpolish in Vanilla and the other day I felt like taking it from matte to glossy. It looks just as pretty with a topcoat as it does when it dries matte, that's the great thing about matte nailpolishes - you can totally wear them both ways! If you'd like to see the matte version click here! Vanilla is a greyish nude, which is a rather flattering shade. I'm wearing two coats, when applying the BarryM matte nailpolish range make sure the coats aren't too thick because that can ruin the man-i-cure as Alexa Chung calls it.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Sham & Cond Review!

Hey Beauty Lovers! So today it's all about hair, colour treated hair to be precise! I believe this is one of the latest new shampoo & conditioner addition to John Frieda haircare line. Luxurious Volume range is designed for colour-treated hair helping to keep the volume and texture of freshly coloured hair and making the colour look pretty and fresh. I have only used this shampoo and conditioner once so perhaps it's a rushed review, nonetheless I want to share my experience!

It made my hair definitely look shiny especially picking up on the highlights and making them look fresher, hair felt really smooth. But when it it comes to volume I have noticed that it made my hair look full in general but pretty flat around the roots. Perhaps it's because it's been a while since I had my hair highlighted and therefore the roots are not colour processed so it's not working on the roots. Next time I will try to use a round brush when blow drying my hair to give the roots a bit of an extra lift and see how it goes, will report back! But all in all I'm a pretty satisfied colour-treated hair customer!

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Eau de Parfum Intense Review!

Hey Beauty Lovers! I purchased this Narciso Rodriguez For Her fragrance probably last year but as it happens it just slipped my mind to write a review and next thing I know the bottle is empty! First things first, it's a really heavy bottle with smokey mirrored non-see-through glass, which means one day you pick it up and without a 'running-low' warning it's simply gone... So apart from this issue I love the design of the mysterious looking bottle. This fragrance is an Eau de Parfum Intense from the Musc Collection, so as you can imagine the scent encapsulates musk! It's a sweet and woody fragrance with jasmine notes, which makes it a beautifully sensual evening fragrance.

New Revlon Parfumerie Nailpolish in African Tea Rose!

Hey Beauty Lovers! Today I stopped by at Revlon counter [in Boots] and discovered that finally we have their scented nailpolishes in UK, woohoo! As soon as I got home I had to paint my nails, of course... I wasn't sure what to expect from the scented nailpolish but I actually love it! The scent of every nailpolish is meant to represent the name of the nailpolish, in this case African Tea Rose. I have no idea what an actual African Tea Rose smells like but this nailpolish definitely has a very pretty rose scent!! As I always wear a topcoat I didn't know if the scent would still come through but it does, it makes your hands smell like you just applied a beautiful rose scented handcream!! 

So I'm really excited about this new Revlon nailpoish range. The formula is beautiful, super smooth and perfectly opaque in two coats. Not sure about the nailpolish wear longevity yet as I only painted my nails today, but truth be told I change nailpolish every other day or maybe an extra day max, so either way that's never a problem for me. And I love the packaging too, reminds me of a vintage fragrance bottle.

Hey Beauty Lovers! I've been meaning to do this blogpost for a while and let you know what I think about the Sensai lipsticks! I believe last year, maybe even the year before I went to Sensai skincare press event and was given this Sensai Rouge Introduction Kit to try. Sensai is an amazing Japanese skincare brand, which is what I knew them for before the press event but I was pleasantly surprised that they also had a lovely make-up line, which I wasn't aware of! In this Sensai Rouge Introduction Kit [I believe it's a press sample] are eight lipstick shades from their two lipstick ranges Vibrant Cream Colour and Intense Lasting Colour + Lip Base. The lipsticks are creamy and pigmented and last well! The shades VC 01 Sangoiro, IL 101 Hitoeume and IL 109 Neshoubu have a very subtle pretty shimmer.

Hey Beauty Lovers! I was in the mood for some nail art using these beautiful pastel shades from the Estee Lauder Spring 2013 Collection. I'm not sure if these shades are still available as they were Limited Edition, but they are the perfect spring colours! When I started with this nail art I wasn't sure where I was going with it, but I have been told on a numerous occasion that it looks like an impression of Monet's Water Lilies, so I'll go with that! To create this impressionist nail art, I applied two coats of Estee Lauder Dilettante [cream mint blue], then using a fine artists brush I simply applied small strokes of Absinthe [yellowish cream green] and Narcissist [pastel pink]. I must admit, the more I wore this nail art the more I fell in love with it! It's really easy to create and you can go for any colour combo.

Touché by Flavien Volumising Spray!

Hey Beauty Lovers! I had this Touché by Flavien Volumising Spray sitting on my bathroom counter for ages and I have finally had a chance to try it! If you like your hair to have that natural type of volume but still have that movement, be smooth and soft without that crispy texture - this Volumising Spray is made for you! It's haircare combined with a styling product, it has Prickly Pear to nourish the hair leaving it shiny and healthy looking. You can use this Volumising Spray on dry or damp hair, applying it just into the roots or all over before styling with a round brush. I have asked Flavien if he could share his professional tips & tricks on how to use this Volumising Spray for best result and he has kindly shared his expertise:  

‘Apply on wet and clean  hair from the roots to the ends. Lift all the roots whilst drying or put your head down to lift the roots. This product is fab if you just have to redo your fringe in the morning. Spray on the part of the hair that needs fixing  (ex: fringe) then blow dry with a round brush.’

Lux Rock-Chick Smokey Eye with Burberry & ByTerry!

Hey Beauty Lovers! This look may not be for everyone but personally I quite enjoy a rock-chick heavy smokey eye ever so often. So the key to this look is taking the eyeshadow under the lower lash-line and right into the inner corner. To create this smokey eye I have applied ByTerry Ombre Blackstar Cream Eye Shadow in 6 Frozen Quartz, which is a beautiful shimmery rose-gold. Then using only the Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow in Mulberry No.24, I simply applied it all over the lid and of course under the lower lashes, making sure everything is nicely blended. This look would be incomplete without a intense black eyeliner in the waterline, I've gone for Avon SuperShock gel eyeliner. And that is pretty much it...

Hey Beauty Lovers! Here is a cool nail look that I have really enjoyed wearing, it's all about taking grunge black nails to the next level. To create this look I applied two coats of Essie Licorice, which is a super opaque cream black and over the top I applied just one coat of Essie Luxeffects Set In Stones, which is a beautiful silver glitter overcoat with small and large glitter particles on a clear base. For this ombre effect I have concentrated the glitters at the base of the nail. This silver glitter overcoat looks super chic over the dramatic black nails.

L'Occitane Neroli & Orchid Fragrance Review!

Hey Beauty Lovers! I have recently featured the new L'Occitane Neroli & Orchid Collection that was launched in March 2014. Neroli & Orchid Eau de Toilette is the most gorgeous scent that is just perfect for spring and summer. I wore it most part of the month and I'm still addicted to the scent, which says a lot because generally I rotate my fragrances every couple of days. Although it's an eau de toilette it lingers on my skin and clothes for hours and hours, which I absolutely love! It's a light but sensual floral fragrance, if I could describe it with just one word it would be: Delicious! The two key raw components are Neroli essence from the Mediterranean and white orchid absolute from Madagascar. 

Top Notes: Orange, mandarin. 
Heart Notes: Neroli, peach & fig milk. 

Base Notes: Orchid, musk & iris.
