Year after year when spring comes closer, so does Valentine's Day... I'm not a huge fan of the love-filled concoction day, but I do love the loved-up makeup... Of course it has got to be a red lip look! And so I decided Chanel Rouge Coco in 31 Cambon would be the perfect lipstick for a classic beauty look... It's a blue toned red which is great for making teeth look whiter... The eyes I kept pretty basic and nude and applied a thick eyeliner with a light flick, using the Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner in 01 Black... And to brighten up the eyes I have applied the Chanel Long-Lasting Eyeliner in 102 Beryl, a very pretty pearly lilac, which is my current obsession! It just does something wonderful and makes you look rested and pretty... This look is super simple to recreate, and only requires three main components: a red lipstick, black eyeliner, and eye-brightening waterline pencil! I wonder what Coco Chanel would say, I hope she'd approve...

I've got my first chanel waterproof pencils on the way :) In Ebene and Celadon, I can't wait to receive them!!!
ReplyDeleteI also tested out a sample of Chanel perfection lumiere at the weekend and I'm smitten, such a beautiful foundation.
I think Coco would approve of your gorgeous look :D you're like me, you just love rocking the bold lip colours xxx
You'll love them, pretty much all of my other eyeliners have been on a break since I tried the Chanel Long-Lasting Eyeliner for the first time.. :) And the foundation sounds great, I definitely want to try it as at the moment I am in the process of finishing off all the foundations I had for a while and will need a new beautiful foundation soon!
DeleteOh and I might have mentioned this in my earlier blog posts but I used to be absolutely terrified of bright lips, they just didn't work on me at all, and now I go through stages preferring a red lip to a nude! :)) xxx
