A Soft Glamorous Valentines Beauty Look with Clarins Iris Blossom Palette!

The new Clarins Rouge Eclat in 08 Coral Pink...

Clarins Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in 10 Iris Blossom [Spring 2013 Collection]
A La Carte Cosmetics Divine Lash Mascara in Black
Chanel Long-Lasting Eyeliner in 102 Beryl [Spring 2012 Collection]

So here is the look I created with this beautiful Clarins eyeshadow palette in Iris Blossom from the new Spring Collection! To see the new Clarins lipstick swatches click here! As a base I applied MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork, and all over the lid I blended in the iridescent taupe shade... As this palette can be used wet and dry, I sprayed some water on an angle brush and used the black eyeshadow as an eyeliner, which is great for a soft definition... With a small flat brush I applied the frosty white shade on my tear-dot to brighten up the eyes...

Speaking of which, I have also used the Chanel Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Beryl [also from the new Spring Collection], a very pretty lilac shade that visibly brightens the eyes without being too obvious on the waterline... Also to see a full review on the eyeliner click here! On my upper and lower lashes I used the A La Carte Cosmetics Divine Mascara, I love it, another great discovery: super volumising, smudge-proof and most importantly easy to take off - for a full review click here! This look is great for Valentines dinner, it's glamorous but still natural looking and pretty low maintenance!

I love all things cosmetics a la carte, I used to use a lot of their products years ago and I didn't even realise they were still around, I'll have to check them out again :)

    2. Ahhhh don't you just love a diverse palette :) I've fallen in love with Guerlain palettes and I'm wearing coup de foudre every daye, only 5 shades, but I've manahed to wear them in so many different ways so far, it's awesome.
I do love makeup, I'd go so far as to say I'm obsessed, I don't know what I'd do without the stuff, it's not just a confidence boost for me, it's a play thing, I love experimenting with different shades and combos, it brings out your inner artist :) xxx

    3. You know what that is exactly how I see it, beauty is art... The other day I found pics from about three years ago, right at the time I was getting into beauty love... And it's amazing how you can study your own face and change it every time just by combining different colours, shades, shapes, textures... Ahhh I love it, beautiful make-up application is a true artistry.. :)) xxx
