Hey Beauties! I think I may have discovered a new favourite foundation! I made sure to wear it for a good week to see how it wears and how my skin reacts to it as I have a combination skin type that is also prone to acne. Firstly, when I applied the Astalift Light Analyzing Foundation instantly my skin had that sexy dewy glow, which I like to call the perfect Tom Ford skin. It has enough coverage to cover my acne scars and my shade is Sand, which is a perfect match. As I have combination skin type, my T zone tends to get quite oily, I don't think I'd be able to wear this foundation during a hot summer but for this time of the year it feels and looks amazing. Of course I have to set it with powder as my skin gets a bit oily after a couple of hours wearing a foundation [I always use Laura Mercier Mineral Powder Foundation in Rich Vanilla, which still keeps the dewy finish]. I don't find that it gets any more shiny looking on me at the end of the day than Nars Sheer Glow Foundation or Dr.Jart+ BB Beauty Balm. Speaking of which, Astalift Light Analyzing foundation actually feels like a BB cream, the texture is gel-like and of course the amazing skincare benefits that went into this product. Having mentioned that my skin is acne prone, I got it under control for the past year, however my skin reacts pretty quickly to a new product if it doesn't like it. So far no break outs, usually I break out on the first or second use of a foundation/skincare product. As this foundation is designed to take you from morning right into the night adjusting to the light levels to give you the optimal complexion it just makes your skin look pretty throughout the day. And if you are a fan of scented skincare like I am than you will love this foundation, like the rest of the Astalift skincare products it has a decadent rose scent! This foundation is right on trend for that flawless dewy skin look.
