Arran Aromatics Spiced Cranberry Candle...

November is a funny month... Although you are completely and utterly wrapped up in the fall and all its attributes like being a little more creative when styling an outfit [can't do that much with sandals & shorts in the summer], or enjoying a nice cosy night in watching the old classic films and having a scrumptious piece of carrot cake with generous frosting, or going to bed early with a good book and a nice candle burning... But at the same time you can't help but get excited about Christmas... Fitting fairy lights, roasting chestnuts, buying presents and admiring festive scents... You can feel it, Christmas is coming!

Even though it's only a couple of days the build-up starts in November, right the first day when the Christmas lights get switched on on Oxford Street, and soon the other high-streets follow... When the festive lights go on in beloved Hampstead I get so excited! Christmas is inevitably swinging in the air, it's such a warming time of year to be spent with your loved ones... Opulent Christmas scents bring me back to German Christmas markets, the aroma of ginger cookies and the occasional spiced whiff of the warming mulled wine...

Speaking of which... I got this Arran Aromatics Spiced Cranberry Candle a few weeks ago at TK Maxx, it's a good place to get candles, they are always marked down to half price... I swore I would not touch it till December... No chance! It was out of the box and burning in the first days of November... I love the scent, it's sweet but not at all sickening sweet, very comforting! I can smell cinnamon, cloves and anise star mixed with sweet dried cranberries... When burning it my room  fills with this warm hugging festive aroma, in fact I am burning it right now, feeling like if I'll look out of the window now there will be thick and fluffy snow laying on the ground...

LOVE
