Skyfall: Sévérine - The Wearable Version...

Usually we glam up a day look by adding a black liner or bright lip if we are going out in the evening and don't have time to redo the whole make up look... But this was the other way round... After I created the Skyfall: Sévérine Inspired Look... for Halloween, which was very dramatic, I had to go groceries shopping... I just couldn't turn up in Tescos looking like that, neither did I have the time to take it all off... As there still would be a lot going on on the eyes changing to a nude lip instantly toned done the look... To see the original look I created with the black eyes and plum lips click here...

A very dramatic eye look that perhaps you took too far or don't feel comfortable enough wearing publicly, you can easily make wearable without killing the glamour... Whenever you are wearing a bunch of dark eyeshadow, especially black, to soften the look use a warm light brown eyeshadow over the edge and blend out thoroughly... I used MAC Texture, also applying it over the black under the lower lashes... It's very typical of 80s makeup to take the eyeshadow quite high up over the brow bone almost filling in the entire space... Talking of which, this look reminds me of Tanya Roberts as Stacey Sutton in A View to a Kill...
