Top 5 Autumnal Buys...

As it is the last month of autumn, which by now I don't want to end, although of course I love Christmas and snow and all the good things that come with it like cuddling up with a nice mug of hot chocolate watching Home Alone for the 59th time -I decided to get a few autumnal things before we go into the very cold winter... To me autumn is always about a nice pair of gloves, at this stage they still can have purely a decorative purpose... A tiny pair of gloves that just go upto the wrist are very flattering and perfect to pimp up any outfit...

Of course where there are gloves, there has to be socks... A cute pair of socks peeping out of your ankle boots is quite sweet and innocent, but depending on colour and pattern it can become stylish... These are angora blend, a dark brown, tan, and leopard print, they feel soft and cosy... You could also wear them in winter of course, but when it gets super cold I don't care what socks I wear as long as they are very thick and one tonal... The gloves and the socks are both from H&M... Talking of which the gloves are amazing quality, the cost is a little excessive for the label, I mean for twenty quid you can probably get there a winter coat...

By this stage having moved on from the bright or pale nail colours, painting your tips a dark shade in autumn is a very comforting thing to do... I'm not sure why, it just is! Regardless of the darkness of the autumnal nail polish shades the colour can still have a little pizazz, like this beautiful pine green featured here... Zoya Ray from the current A/W 2012 The New Colour of Fashion Collection  is my chosen one... As we are getting very close to the festive season, this palette is perfect not only for the autumn but also for celebrating Christmas and New Years! Clarins Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in 09 Odyssey is long lasting and can be used dry or wet to get a super intense colour pay off - which is fantastic for the coming celebrations! It's a stunning palette that would be great as a present, I will do a separate post with more info and a look this week, stay tuned!

And finally, there is no autumn without incense sticks, to me at least... It's not for everyone, you either love them or hate them, but I am an absolute addict... Which is why I was so happy to discover that Zara Home does incense sticks not only in a nice variety of scents but in White Jasmine!!! Jasmine is my favourite floral scent, there are no words to describe how much I love Jasmine flowers, it just puts me in the happiest state of mind... They also do candles and home fragrance in each scent... Incense sticks are great for meditating, or relaxing... I quite like burning incense sticks while I am having a bath...
